Excavations: 116 piles total, 60 piles of 1.8 meter diameter and 56 piles of 1.2 meter diameter
Conditions: Off-shore project performed from barges in salt water Harbor. Casing was set to
approximately 40 meters with average excavation depth of 50 meters or greater. Soils
ranged from fine sand to clayey sand to sand and gravel to soft calcarious stone. Sea water
was periodically used for slurry make-up.
