Chester Bridge

In fall 2023, KB International’s DrillSMART and field technicians were utilized on the Chester Bridge Project. The shafts were constructed from a barge, using makeup water sourced directly from the Mississippi River and mixed directly at the point of excavation due to the small site footprint and fast acting properties of DrillSMART. The soil profile consisted mainly of loose to medium-density poorly graded sand, gravel, and silts. KB International’s team and technology supported the management of these soil conditions, contributing to the project’s completion.
