Green Tower

La Paz, Bolivia

Upon completion, Green Tower will be the tallest building in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. For this marquee project Terra Foundations Bolivia installed foundations consisting of a diaphragm wall excavated with a mechanical clamshell and more than 300 bored piles.

The soil of the city of Santa Cruz is composed mainly of sand and sediment from the River Piraí. KB was selected to support the excavations with Enhanced SlurryPRO CDP System. The foundations were installed under the expectation that concrete over breaks would be less than 10% and sand content would be under 1.5% at completion.

For the first month of production, KB provided on site assistance to set up the batching plant and ensure proper dosages.
