Equipos y Terratest Colombia selected KB to put together a fluid design for their “Prosperity Highway” project in the town of Mutatá, Colombia. The project consisted of 28 piles. 2000mm in diameter and depths between 22 and 41 m.

The geological conditions consisted of a colluvial soil with a large presence of gravel and sand with a water table at just 0.5 m below grade. Maintaining adequate head pressure as well as preventing fluid loss in the gravels was of utmost importance. KB met the challenge head on by assisting in the set up of a surge chamber and utilizing our Enhanced SlurryPRO CDP system.
